Ya Allah, this love so complete
Penetrates me so deep
Yes, sadness weighs me down
But happiness and contentment shakes me sound
“Bittersweet”—blah! such an inadequate way
It’s “lovelyhurthappiness” that has a little say
And now my tears caress my smile
And this brightness could defy any mile of style
As you dance inside my heart
It gives a joyful little start
Ya Allah I am so tearfully grateful
No emotion could touch me that’s hateful

Oh the heart calls, the tears flow. Striving mentally but can it be translated physically? or only metaphysically? Lying in the field, dew damp– inside use to be steel–but what’s this? to weep so easily, to laugh joyfully and to see so much beauty it hurts. I try to close my eyes but the light reaches within between eyelashes with excellence of artistry coming at me at lashs. What can I do? I have fallen so deeply in this trap and yet inside enlight a match, a flame–fully blossoming without control or shame. Coming alive, coming strong–oh look at me what have you done? You’ve effortlessly have broken down my will to fight and run–but somehow I feel I have won.

me (2:38:11 AM): Loving for the sake of Allah can come in various forms, oddly I was talking about this with another person today and as you probably know one who does this is in the Shade of Allah SWT on the Last Day inshAllah. From what I know (or think I know) loving for the sake of Allah can come in various forms. Some cases I know of was when there was a student of knowledge who would sneek into his peers rooms and do their laundry and iron and fold the clothes for them. And yet another case is when this two brothers in Islam committed to each other to remind each other to be in a constant state of wudu.
